Open House Photos

Our Open House held August 6, 2011 was a huge success with lots of visitors helping to support the NOAH Fund and the Butler County Humane Society

The Lobby and Reception area were filled with lots of donated baskets and items for the Chinese Auction Raffle.

Free Give-aways and Samples were available in the Waiting Room for all patrons. Butler County Humane Society brought adoptable dogs and cats and offered a Steeler Basket for Raffle. Grooming Stations displayed "Before & After" makeover photos of happy pets.

The Surgery Room and X-Ray Table were set up with "patients" for demonstrations. Interesting X-Rays were on display and participants were treated to listening to a dog's heartbeat.

The Underwater Treadmill was put to good use with Rehabilitation Sessions to demonstrate the benefits of Water Therapy for medical conditions and rehabilitation from surgery and injury.

The Exam rooms were set up with Representatives from J.A.Webster, supplier for Hill's Science Diet Foods, Bayer, supplier for Advantix & Drontal, Merial, supplier for Heart Guard & Frontline and Novartis, supplier for Interceptor,Deramaxx, & Adequan

Rescue groups from Hello Bully, Three Rivers Greyhound Adoption and Equine Angels supplied information about their organizations and even brought some ambassadors. There were also some wonderful cats available for adoption from Twinbrook Animal Clinic, Inc. The Butler County Humane Society also brought some available dogs and cats. One lucky kitten found a forever home with a family visiting the Open House.

Furever Acres Boarding Kennels offered a craft project for kids to make a designer "collar" with paint and glitter. Val Klein from Family Dog Obedience with her very "obedient" mascot answered questions on dog behavior and obedience training classes. Dr. Barb Karner, Coordinator of the Butler County Animal Rescue Team gave out information regarding animal recovery in emergency situations or disasters and Butler Dog Training Association members Nancy Kieffer, Cherrie Sauers, Betty Scarnato, Cheryl Sanson and their canine companions offered information about Canine Good Citizen, therapy dogs, and obedience classes.

Great Hot Dogs with all the fixin's and yummy Ice Cream were available for refreshments. The Kids had fun playing "Pick-A-Duck and throwing Bean Bags into the "mouths" of a Cat and Dog for prizes.

Singer/Songwriter, Acoustic Musician Jay Hitt supplied music and offered his CD's for purchase. Jay donated some proceeds from sales to the fundraiser.

Thank you to all the Patrons and Participants for a very successful day!
